Stepping Out with Constable Carl Session 2

Yesterday Constable Carl came to Room 2 for the second session. It was raining, so he parked his police car outside our classroom! We talked about safety in the car and how we get in and out of the car safely. Hes read us a story and talked about behaviour in the car - how we have to try not to distract the driver. Constable Carl explained about car / booster seats and the new law changing next month. All children under 7 years old have to have a car or booster seat, but it is recommended that all children under 148cm have one. Constable Carl's 10 year old daughter has a booster seat because she is under the line on the chart he gave us. It was great fun to sit in the car, see the lights and hear the siren! (Sorry - the last pic and video were taken on my phone - holding it the wrong way and my computer won't flip it! You'll have to turn your head! Miss M)
