What a treat! On our first day back at school, Constable Carl came to talk to us about road safety. He showed us some pictures of traffic / things that use the roads We talked about crossing the street safely, walking on the house-side of the footpath - not the kerb-side. Then, we went for a walk up to the village and discovered some sneaky driveways - we need to make sure there are no cars coming out of those driveways. We looked at road signs, cars parking and backing and talked about using the drop-off-zone safely. Constable Carl is coming back tomorrow and we are going to talk about safety in the car.
