This week we were learning about fractions in maths. We talked about halves and quarters. We shaded a quarter of a cake and decorated a pizza - the two halves had to have different toppings. We also shaded half of a carton on eggs. We watched a Brainpop video clip that talked about fractions. Then we learnt about the symbols of fractions. What does 1/2 mean? What does 1/4 mean?
