Last week Mr Marshall taught the Room 2 Tuis how to play the drums, maracas and ukeleles to accompany singing "The Maori Colour Song" Today the Room 2 Tuis showed Miss M what they could do.

Special Treat Today - Cupcakes!!!!
Today the Room 2 Tuis enjoyed a special treat! A huge thank-you to Elle, her little sister Lily and her Mum Bronwen. They were so delicious and the excitement resulted in Miss M forgetting to take photos of us enjoying them. Lucky Bronwen took a pic before she sent them to school!

The TPS Art Exhibition was a huge success! The Room 2 Tuis created awesome, unique crazy clay cups and saucers. Look at those beaming smiles! So creative!

A Great Opportunity to Learn!
The school gate has been broken for a few days. An engineer came to fix it today. Mr Bill showed Miss M what was wrong with the gate and she showed us! There is a light sensor in the gate that was broken, that is why it wasn't working. The light sensor can tell if there is anything blocking the gate - if there is, it won't close. Miss M showed us her special card to open the gate. It was very interesting to see the little electrical part from inside the gate - even Miss M learned something today!
TPS Art Exhibition
Today the Room 2 Tui's visited the TPS Art Exhibition. It was great to see our Crazy Clay Cups and Saucers on display. Many Tui's found the artwork their siblings had done. An amazing effort by all the children at TPS. What a well-rounded and connected bunch we are!
