Probability in Maths

This week in maths, we are talking about probability. We are learning about the language - impossible, possible, certain, will, won't, might, maybe.

We looked at some images Miss M created on the Activboard and had to decide which word we would circle. I wonder how many Tuis can remember which word they circled on their activity sheet?

 

Ceramic Art - Room 2 Tuis Review!

Today the Room 2 Tuis looked at an image of mugs/ cups and saucers and talked about what we liked about them. Then we looked at Kevin Kilsby's mugs. He is a ceramic artist from Mt Albert, Auckland. We looked at his designs and shared which one we liked and which one we didn't like and why. This Inspiration concept is fun!

Jackson Pollock - Digital Art

Today in the Pod, Room 2 Tuis created their very own Jackson Pollock artwork. It was great fun! Although, it is tricky to remember his name when it is so similar to Mr Jackson..but it wasn't our principal who did this artwork!

 

Buddy Activities Friday 9th August

The Room 2 Tuis enjoyed a warm, sunny afternoon with our buddy class - Room 8 / Year 5. The children drew pictures with playground chalk, played Cat and Mouse, did puzzles and built Moblio models - a great end to a fabulous week in Room 2!
